ABOUT KELLEY

Kelley Davis is an artist and storyteller based in Scotland, who uses colour and dynamic compositions to express the beauty of the world around her and invite viewers to reflect on their own experiences.

Kelley graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in 2014 with a BA (hons) in Fine Art and has dedicated herself to the creative industry, behind the scenes, ever since. In 2024, she made the significant decision to revisit her own creative roots, reigniting her passion for art and exploring new avenues of expression.

Kelley draws inspiration from the natural world, particularly the dramatic skies and cloudscapes that often reflect the complexities of life. Using traditional oil painting techniques & experimenting with materials such as metal leaf -  her powerful depictions allow viewers to pause and appreciate the transient beauty that surrounds us, in the most impactful way.

"I felt compelled to paint sky.. and in particular clouds, because they spoke to me at a time when personally I was also navigating through changes and new beginnings. They serve as a reminder to me that good or bad, everything in life is temporary"
